Cops directing traffic while the city finally works on fixing the stoplight outside my new office. Some days, working on tje 5th floor sucks. Case in point: yesterday, the westbound stoplight right. outside. my. window. was having some sort of meltdown and would intermittently quit cycling. Traffic would back up and all the jackasses 5 car lengths back would honk their fool heads off. (does that even help?! NO!!)

It got so bad at one point that the mo-tards in the front of the line decided to run the light in the middle of its cycle with like 30 cars after that following. I'm surprised there wasn't a pileup.

Needless to say, I had a whopper of a headache by the time the city (finally) decided to fix the light.

My little bites lying in bed during his 'office hours.' He's taken to holding office hours in his little bed right next to me while I am working. We tried it his way (on my lap and all up in my face), and decided that didn't work so well. So, I set the bites up with his bed right next to me and he seems perfectly content to hold court from there while I get some work done. Why didn't I leave my job sooner?

I was going to post something about Nembu saying its 'window time,' since in his old age, Nembu has decided that he needs time with the windows open so the breeze can whip past his ears. He's not shy about letting you know exactly when 'window time' starts, either. Too bad for you if its raining.

Today, 'window time' led to 'let's kick the baby's ass time,' and I just had to go for documented evidence that Nembu ran. And played. Of course, barking his fool head off came next.
